The greenhouse can be used for round the year crop cultivation and or nursery growing provided environmental parameters is maintained in desirable range. The low cost natural ventilated greenhouse is developed using bamboo and UV stabilized film (200 micron) & UV stabilized insect net proof material (40 mesh). The cost of developed structure was around Rs. 288/m2 and developed low cost natural ventilated greenhouse can be utilized for cultivation and or nursery growing during winter & rainy season. But the major challenge in utilizing the developed structure occurs during summer season due to high temperature and light intensity. The same structure can be utilized for solar drying and or soil solarization during summer season. So the developed low cost natural ventilated greenhouse can be utilized round the year for multipurpose.
